CASCADE BICYCLE CLUB PRESENTS ... ME!

I'm looking forward to next Tuesday, the 13th, when I'll be presentin' and representin' at Seattle's big downtown REI as my "75 Classic Rides: Washington" World Domination tour continues. I'll be showing slides and chattin' up routes from the book as well as a few of the amazing gravel grinders I did in late summer. Maybe some of the recent CX races I've been throwing down at too. My intent is to inspire and spread my love of bikes, biking and all things bike-related!

The free event is hosted by Cascade Bicycle Club (Thanks, CBC!) and all the deets are here
Hope to see you there!

  2. I'm very interested in knowing more about gravel grinding in western and eastern WA. Do you have any resources you could point me to for such route and area info?

  3. I am very interested in knowing more about gravel grinding routes and areas in western and eastern WA. Do you have any resources you can point me to for this type of info? I know this is becoming popular but there is not a lot of info out there. I did see you post about the 80 mile ride near mazama. I love your new book of 75 classic rides; definitely inspired me to go hit some areas I hadn't been to before.

  4. Charley, contact the guys at http://rideviciouscycle.com/. They're put on a bunch of gravel grinder gran fondos (of sorts) in Winthrop, Leavenworth, Ephrata, etc. They may be able to point you to the West. WA scene as well. Sorry I can't be of more help right now; I'm presently living in Luxembourg for the time being. (I can point you to some cool GG-riding here though!) Glad you like my 75 Classic Rides book--I miss those rides! - McQ
